Summer Missionaries
We are seeking young men and women who have a passion for the gospel and are excited to grow and learn as they share Christ with those who don't know him. If that's you, we're excited and honored about the possibility of having you on our Summer Missionary Team. Check below for a brief description of all the positions we're looking for.

Spring Positions
Room & Board at camp included, start dates vary
Program Director (1)
Work with the Programming & Follow-Up Director to develop a camp theme for the summer. Organize the camp program, including games, theme meals, Bible memorization, and more. In summer you'll make announcements and solve problems that come up. You'll also be responsible for mentoring a few cabin leaders each week.
Secretary (1)
Keep camp organized! Responsibilities include answering calls & emails, processing camper registrations, completing deposits and paying bills, and more. If it happens in the office, you'll likely be involved. Position runs from May-August.
Head Lifeguard (1)
Monitor all pool activities, and maintain the pool (run tests, clean filters, add chemicals, etc.) Must have NLS certification, CPR level C, and Aquatic Emergency Care, or equivalents. Pool Operator's course is desired. You will also work with the Assistant Lifeguard (after all, it's tough to guard the pool and lake at the same time)
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
School Field Trip Crew (3)
Help us get the camp ready for another summer! Includes maintenance, cleaning, work projects, and especially leading activities for school/other guest groups. Room and board at camp is included and start dates vary by position/individual. Perfect for those coming out of college or university!
Custodian/Maintenance Leader (1)
Help us to get the camp ready for another summer! You'll work on your own or oversee the School Field Trip Crew in doing basic maintenance, cleaning, and work projects. May help out in the kitchen or in leading activities for guest groups when needed. Room and board at camp is included.
Spring Early Years Leader (1)
Work with kids before our campers even arrive! You'll provide regular programming for volunteer and full-time missionary children in spring, while also planning our summer Early Years program. This person could remain an Early Years Leader in summer or transition to other summer positions.
Senior Summer Positions
Applicants should be 18 by year end or graduated high school
Cabin Leader (18)
Probably the most important position at camp. You'll be the front-lines of our ministry. We need approximately 8 guys and 10 girls. You'll lead a cabin of campers, teach one or two skills each week, lead your cabin in evening devotions, and provide leadership to your Jr Cabin Leader.
Applicants should be at least 18 years of age.
BOLD Leader (6)
Each BOLD session we'll hire 1 male and 1 female leader to take charge of our BOLD (Becoming Obedient Lifelong Disciples) program for ages 13-15. Cabin lead your group of 4-6 youth for 2 weeks, guide them in work projects, lead their games, and teach them how to follow Jesus.
Assistant Program Director (7)
Work with the Program Director to give leadership to the camp program (see PD). Check in on and lead skills, help lead games, and get the chance to see up-close what Program Directing looks like! Likely a role for full-summer cabin leaders, it's a great way to change up your routine in summer and be stretched in your leadership abilities.
Assistant Lifeguard (2)
A high school aged missionary who is responsible for helping the head lifeguard to oversee the pool and lake, as well as maintain the pool. Must have NLS certification. CPR level C and Pool Operator's Course are desired.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
Early Years Leader (1-8)
Run our program for missionary & volunteer children aged 2-7. This will include Bible teaching, crafts, and games. You'll give leadership to the Early Years Program Assistant(s). You may also be asked to help with other areas of the camp program.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Junior Summer Positions
Applicants should be 15 by year end or 14 and BOLD alumni
Junior Cabin Leader (30)
A high school aged missionary who will assist the Cabin Leader with their tasks. Each week you'll help lead one or two skills, lead one evening devotion, and learn how to be a full-fledged Cabin Leader. We need approximately 15 guys and 15 girls.
Applicants must be at least 15 years of age.
Early Years Helper (10)
A high school aged missionary who will assist the Early Years Leader with their tasks. Each week you'll help supervise and lead activities for children aged 2-7 throughout the day. You may also be asked to help with other areas of the camp program.

Volunteer Roles
Help out our volunteer team by serving for a week or more as a Kitchen Helper, Custodian, or Maintenance. A great way to see behind the scenes of camp while growing in service, community, and leadership!
