Summer 2021

We're offering 4 different kinds of camps for children and youth this year. To see all our dates and rates on one table, click here. Read on for more details about each camp. Click here to read how we handle your child's personal information.

OVERNIGHT CAMPS ARE BACK!! We're thrilled to once again be able to host campers for overnight camps this summer! When registering for an Onsite Camp, campers will have the option of selecting to attend overnight for an additional $80 fee. If preferred, they can still attend these camps as a Day Camper for the $200 total fee. Daily transportation from our pickup/drop-off locations will still be offered for those who desire it.

We will still be offering our Road Camps. The only change to those at this point is that with gathering numbers going up, we're able to host more campers at these camps! However, if we do not have at least 10 campers registered by 2 weeks prior to the start of a Road Camp, that week of Road Camp will be cancelled and those who have registered and paid will be refunded.

This page is up to date as of June 9, 2021.

Day and Overnight Camp at KLBC

We're excited to be able to once again host campers onsite! We're keeping our camp ages the same (7-13 by the end of 2021), but as much as possible will have campers grouped with others of similar age. For those just wanting to be here for the days, we're keeping our Day Camp Option open so campers can still get the camp experience, adapted to fit within a day camp program.

Overnight Camp

  • $280/camper. Campers will stay in a cabin with up to 7 other campers, grouped by age and gender.

  • Campers will do 4 skills/day, plus other fun camp activities (wide game, chapel, tuck, etc.)

  • Registration will begin on Sunday at 5:00 pm. Pickup will be on Friday at 4:00 pm. We will not be hosting a closing program this year.

Day Camp

  • $200/camper. As much as possible, Day Campers will remain as their own cohort, separate from Overnight Campers.

  • Campers will have the option to be picked up/dropped off daily at our set locations (see below).

  • Campers will do 3 skills/day, plus other fun camp activities (wide game, chapel, tuck, etc.)

  • Day Campers will be at camp from 9:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the pickup time listed, as we will be departing at that time. There will be volunteers at each location helping to organize everyone before and after the bus's arrival/departure. While on the bus campers will have assigned seating and be required to wear masks as regulations require. With a reduced number of campers choosing daily transportation, we will send as smaller vehicle as we're able.

Becoming Obedient Lifelong Disciples

Can't get enough of camp? Thinking about becoming a summer missionary someday? Maybe you want some intentional community as you grow in your faith? Try BOLD!

This two week camp will combine intentional mentorship and discipleship for teens ages 13-17 who want to grow in their faith, experience working in a ministry program, and enjoy some great camp activities! During these two weeks campers will serve with other BOLD campers and will spend the majority of the day in their small group (6-12 campers)

What to expect:

  • Service projects: A large part of this program is based around doing service projects alongside program leaders and other BOLD campers. You can expect to help with landscaping projects, cleaning jobs, and program preparation.

  • Fun activities: Everyday there will be time to enjoy camp. Paintballing, swimming, tubing, kayaking, wall climbing, and more!

  • Spiritual Growth: Campers will be challenged in their faith through daily devotions, Bible Studies, and intentional mentoring.

BOLD camps start on Sundays at 3:30 pm and run until Friday at 4 pm. Over the weekend campers are not permitted to remain at camp. There is an additional application for BOLD built into the online registration for the camper to complete prior to acceptance into the program.

$30   Ages 5-7   Monday, July 26

This one day camp is a great way to introduce your child to the KLBC experience! We'll play some awesome group games, swim in our pool, sing fun songs, and create fantastic crafts.

Registration is at 10:00 am and pickup happens at 4:30 pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

$50/week or $15/day

Last year the pandemic forced us to adapt how we do camp. Since we couldn't run overnight camps, we ran day camps. And because so many of our campers live far away from camp, we brought camp to them!

This year we're doing more of the same. We'll be sending a team of leaders to eight different communities to run a Monday-Friday Day Camp.

Here's where we're headed:

  • Cancelled: July 12-16  Moosomin Baptist Church

  • Cancelled: July 19-23  Redvers One Church

  • July 26-30  Weyburn (Silver Heights Bible Church)

  • July 26-30  Carnduff Associated Gospel Church

  • August 2-6  Estevan Alliance Church

  • August 2-6  Kipling (Parkland Bible Church)

  • August 9-13  Stoughton Apostolic Church

  • August 16-20  Kola Evangelical Mennonite Church

Each day we'll run programming from 9 am-4 pm for ages 7-13. Campers will be asked to bring their own bag lunch, but we will provide snacks throughout the day. Campers can also bring extra cash to spend in our travelling tuck shop!

The days will be filled with classic camp games, crafts, Bible lessons, skills and more. We'll even be bringing our portable climbing wall to each Road Camp for a day or two!

July 1-4 & July 30-Aug 2

With limited space, we're opening up two Family Camp weekends. Thursday-Sunday in July and Friday-Monday over the August Long Weekend. Both Family Camps will begin with supper at 5:30 and end with lunch at 12:00. Be sure to register in advance to ensure you get the accommodations you need for your family.

Cost for the weekend is by donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations greater than $75 for a single person or $150 for a family. Any donations received will be used to cover the costs of the weekend and the ongoing financial needs of camp ministry.
