Summer Missionaries

We are seeking young men and women who have a passion for the gospel and are excited to grow and learn as they share Christ with those who don't know him. If that's you, we're excited and honored about the possibility of having you on our Summer Missionary Team. Check below for a brief description of all the positions we're looking for.

Summer Positions...

Monitor all pool activities, and maintain the pool (run tests, clean filters, add chemicals, etc.) Must have NLS certification, CPR level C, and Aquatic Emergency Care, or equivalents. Pool Operator's course is desired. You will also work with the Assistant Lifeguard (after all, it's tough to guard the pool and lake at the same time)

Summer Camp Lifeguard Kenosee Lake Bible Camp

Cabin Leader (18)

Probably the most important position at camp. You'll be the front-lines of our ministry. We need approximately 8 guys and 10 girls. You'll lead a cabin of campers, teach one or two skills each week, lead your cabin in evening devotions, and provide leadership to your Jr Cabin Leader.

Applicants should be at least 18 years of age.

Program Director (1)

Work together with the Head PD to develop a camp theme for the summer. Organize the camp program, including games, theme meals, Bible memorization, and more. Make announcements and solve problems that come up. You'll also be responsible for mentoring a few cabin leaders each week.

Assistant Program Director (2)

Work with the Head Program Director to give leadership to the camp program (see PD). Two APDs will be in the role at a time in summer, possibly spending other weeks Cabin Leading, BOLD Leading, etc. A great way for veteran cabin leaders to take the next step as a leader!

Early Years Leader (1)

Run our program for missionary & volunteer children aged 2-7. This will include Bible teaching, crafts, and games. You'll give leadership to the Early Years Program Assistant. You may also be asked to help with other areas of the camp program.

Junior Cabin Leader (30)

A high school aged missionary who will assist the Cabin Leader with their tasks. Each week you'll help lead one or two skills, lead one evening devotion, and learn how to be a full-fledged Cabin Leader. We need approximately 15 guys and 15 girls.

Applicants must be at least 15 years of age.

Early Years Program Assistant (7)

A high school aged missionary who will assist the Early Years Leader with their tasks. Each week you'll help supervise and lead activities for children aged 2-7 throughout the day. You may also be asked to help with other areas of the camp program.

Summer Camp Lifeguard Kenosee Lake Bible Camp

Assistant Lifeguard (1)

A high school aged missionary who is responsible for helping the head lifeguard to oversee the pool and lake, as well as maintain the pool. Must have NLS certification. CPR level C and Pool Operator's Course are desired.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

BOLD Leader (6)

Each BOLD session we'll hire 1 male and 1 female leader to take charge of our BOLD (Becoming Obedient Lifelong Disciples) program for ages 13-15. Cabin lead your group of 4-6 youth for 2 weeks, guide them in work projects, lead their games, and teach them how to follow Jesus.

Spring Crew (5)

Help us get the camp ready for another summer! Includes maintenance, cleaning, work projects, and facilitating school/other guest groups. Room and board at camp is included and start dates vary by position/individual. Perfect for those coming out of college or university!
